In-Office Teeth Whitening

We provide chair side teeth whitening, also referred to as in-office tooth bleaching, for your convenience. If Dr. Rice feels you are a candidate for teeth whitening, you will be given the option of chair side teeth whitening. Although the tooth bleaching treatment could require more than one visit, the visits themselves are generally only 30 minutes long. The chair side teeth whitening procedure itself is very simple. After your gums and soft tissue are covered with protective gel a tooth bleaching agent will be applied to whiten your teeth.

Zoom! Tooth Bleaching

If you are looking for laser-like teeth whitening, then we're here to help. Zoom! Teeth Whitening is a simple procedure that we can perform for you right in our office near South Elgin. The Zoom! tooth bleaching system is quick and effective teeth whitening procedure done right in our dental office. As with other tooth bleaching systems, your gums and soft tissue are covered and protected. The Zoom! Teeth Whitening Gel is then applied three different times; after each application the Zoom! light is used. Each application is approximately 15 minutes long; the whole procedure will generally take less than an hour!

At Home Teeth Whitening

If you are looking for something fairly mild with good results you may want to try take-home teeth whitening kits. Take-home tooth bleaching kits such as Crest White Strips, Opalescence, and Night White can be good tools in combating discolored teeth but they aren't a permanent solution. The effects of these take home tooth bleaching kits may only last months, over time that could add up. If you decide to use this method, make sure you notify us if you are having any complications (such as tooth or gum tissue sensitivity).
