Lame jokes aside, a common concern for patients is stained teeth. In this blog post we’re going to talk a little bit about a common cause of tooth staining: dark beverages like tea.
Over time, tea, coffee and cola can stain the plaque that may eventually turn into tartar. Plaque can be brushed and flossed away. Tartar cannot, so daily oral hygiene is critical.
Between cleanings, rinse with water after drinking these beverages. Be sure to brush and floss all surfaces of the teeth at the end of the day.
